You know, I am really not convinced about the BMW X6.
AUTOLOUD is trying to like it, just on the basis that it is different, but I am not so sure.
It looks okay but for me the X6 answered a question that I dont know if anyone asked. The body styling would look far better on the 1 series or even as a 3 series hatch.
Maybe the design team were out on the town during Oktoberfest, had too many steins and someone said, “ Lets make an X5 coupe” At that stage the steins would be raised, another round ordered and the rest is history. Lets face it, everything looks better through beer goggles right? However this monstrosity came to be, the idea of a sporty off-roader seems on the face of it to be a contradiction in terms.
The news has now filtered out that BMW will fit a 300 Kilowatt Twin Turbo Petrol V8, just what you want on the beach, more horsepower, best stay away from the low tide mark then!
