Gordon Murray has a resume to die for!

Gordon Murray has a habit of producing cars that make sense and are built in a similar fashion, forget all the marketing hype, this is a guy who designs cars for the sake of designing cars!
He is a genius and probably his most famous work is the McLaren F1. This is the ultimate supercar which was built with no expense spared, it was the quickest road going car in the world, until the VW Veyron arrived that is!
He was also responsible for the Rocket by the Light Car Company, the closest I can get to describing it is to say it was like a 1950s Formula One car that had shrunk in the wash and had a motorcycle engine fitted. He is also tied up with Caparo on their project.
Gordon’s latest project is the T25, It will weigh just 550kg and cost from £5500. Equipped with a 51bhp three-cylinder petrol engine, it should return around 80mpg. It can seat four people and it is only 2.4 metres long. Due to the plastic body panels the car can be a mini-MPV, a van, pick-up or even a convertible and the best news is we will be able to do this in the comfort of our own driveways!
This car may well be the new standard for small cars; we only have to wait until 2012 to find out.
