It has a great soundtrack to it, offers road piercing acceleration and the handling is above expectations, and there is no doubt that Abarth 695 Biposto is a monster on the track. It holds up easily on the road, thanks to the soft suspension that adapts to various road types, making up for smooth run to the office or a Saturday evening adrenaline rush.

For enthusiasts, it is quite hard to get out of Abarth’s quickest and hands down, one of the craziest creations yet without a wide grin on the face. This car from the brand is being recognized as the world’s smallest supercar and it is clear why.

From the very moment you strap yourself tight into the racing seat, you will feel like you are ready to hit the race track. Once you floor the throttle, this Abarth’s twin active valve exhausts start roaring while the turbo pushes in heaps of cool air.

When it comes down to corners, the 695 Biposto feels like it’s planted while the sensation of rapid acceleration is both addictive and gripping. Here is the breakdown, it will go from 0-62 mph in under 5.8 seconds with a stunning top speed of 143 mph. Now THAT is serious pace from a car that is designed for the city and what is even interesting is that the 1.4 liter turbocharged engine comes from the Formula 4 single seat series.

However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that all you do with your 695 Biposto is about outright pace. The car’s sensitive yet tight handling makes it fun to steer around tight corners. The car itself is nimble and agile; therefore, it doesn’t feel anything like all the other heavy supercars in the market. It weighs in at 997Kg. Oh that’s when the backseats are not there-but still, 997kg!

What’s a bit tricky is the gearbox. Yes, the inner workings being displayed in shiny polished metal will surely catch a lot of eyes when you are stationary. But when you feel the sudden need for speed and look down at what you are holding you are bound to be struck with sudden panic.

The gear changes on the 695 Biposto can be done without using the clutch. All gear changes are lightning quick and this is why we believe it is better left to the professionals. Everything is smooth until you get on wrong gear and things get considerably rough.

Currently, the biggest stumbling block for Abartha’s 695 Biposto is that it is an expensive toy. In addition to this, for speed lovers who’ve got money to spend, it might be disappointing to know that this beauty is only available in matte grey.
