A Dog of a car! Sorry, a dog in a car!

The observant amongst you will have noticed that most people are either a cat person or a dog person. AUTOLOUD is a dog person! Why do I bring this up? Well it concerns me that I have witnessed an increasing amount of vehicles fitted with what seems to be the latest in navigation devices.
The system known as DOGS or Dog Operated Guidance System is being fitted to small hatchbacks and is a popular option with (mostly) female drivers. The addition of a small dog to the steering wheel allows the driver the opportunity to have lapses in concentration with absolutely no side effects!
It was initially thought that the developers were barking up the wrong tree and the only comment that they are prepared to make in public was that was " Make no bones about it, thats a bit Ruff" I think they are rover it myself!
Seriously though, why the hell are people driving around with small dogs on their laps with their puppy heads hanging out the drivers window? The recommendations are that we do not smoke or drink while at the wheel, so why do these people think it is acceptable to do this!
Get them in the back seat and belt the little buggers in!
