Burn, Baby Ferrari, Burn!

The new Ferrari 458 Italia is the latest in a long line of “Hot” supercars from the Maranello based manufacturer.
Although the mid engine V8 coupe has only been available for a short period of time, the rich, famous and middle aged have discovered to their horror that this scorching car from Ferrari has an annoying habit of self combusting!
While sitting in a Heathrow airport hanger a Giallo Fly example barbecued itself for no apparent reason and in California, a Rossa Corsa did the wrong kind of burn out all the pavement.
Ferrari feeling the heat in Paris
Reports are coming from all over the world; the Arc de Triomphe roundabaout in Paris ( as seen above), Germanys Autobahns and even Italia’s delivered in Eastern Europe are not immune. Ferrari has launched a special investigation into the problem, though no one has mentioned a recall as yet.
If you are looking to buy a low mileage Italia now seems to be a good time, just make sure you are insured, especially against fire!
